- Step 1
Take a frying pan and heat 1/2 tsp Oil.
- Step 2
Add 1/4 Cup previously boiled and chopped Arbi and fry it on a medium flame.
- Step 3
Once lightly golden turn over each piece.
- Step 4
Take off the heat once all the arbi pieces are crisp and golden.
- Step 5
Place the fried arbi on a paper towels and keep aside.
- Step 6
Take another pan and heat 1/2 tablespoon Oil.
- Step 7
Add 1/8 cup thinly sliced onions and fry till golden brown. Keep aside.

In a third pan, heat 1 tsp Oil at a low flame and add 1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds.
- Step 9
Once you hear it splutter, add 1 Bay Leaf, 1/2 inch Cinnamon Stick, 1 Black Elaichi and 2 Lavang.
- Step 10
Mix and add 1 tbsp Chopped Onion alongwith 1/2 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste.
- Step 11
Saute till the onions turn transparent.
- Step 12
Now add 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder, 1/4 tsp Dhania Powder, 1/4 tsp Haldi, 1/8 tsp Nutmeg Powder.
- Step 13
Saute till you start smelling a powerful aroma of the masalas.
- Step 14
Stir in little water alongwith 1 tbsp Nestlé A+ Curd.
- Step 15
In this simmering and aromatic paste fold in the fried arbi.
- Step 16
Add 1/4 tsp salt and previously fried onions.
- Step 17
Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Step 18
Serve hot with chapati or rice.
