- Step 1
For Syrup
Heat a pan with 1/4 cup jaggery powder and little water.
- Step 2
Bring to a boil to make a thick syrup and keep aside.
- Step 3
For Thekua
In a bowl add 1/2 cup whole wheat flour,1/8 cup grated dry coconut,1/4 tsp saunf,1/8 tsp green elaichi powder,1/2 tbsp ghee, jaggery syrup and combine all together.

If required add a little water to form smooth dough.
- Step 5
Give it a Nestle Twist by adding white sesame seeds
- Step 6
Take a small portion and shape like a leaf using a back of a fork.
- Step 7
Heat oil in a kadai and deep fry thekua until golden.
- Step 8
Serve.
