Steps
- Step 1
For kadhi
In a bowl, add 3 tbsp besan, 4 tbsp beaten Nestlé A+ Curd water and mix into a smooth paste.
- Step 2
Heat 1 tbsp ghee, add 1/4th tsp rai, add1/4th tsp jeera, 5 kadi patta, 1/2 tsp chopped green chilli, 1/4th tsp haldi, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4th tsp hing and allow to crackle.
- Step 3
Now add besan paste, water and mix properly.
- Step 4
Close the lid and cook for 5 min.
- Step 5
For khichdi
Heat 1 tsp ghee in a pressure cooker, add 1/2 tsp cloves, 2 kadi patta,1 tsp jeera, 1 bay leaf, 1 cinnamon stick, 1/8th tsp hing, 1/4th tsp red chilli powder, 1/8th tsp haldi, 1/4th tsp salt, now add soaked bajra and mix properly.
- Step 6
Add 3 tsp moong dal and stir.
- Step 7
Add water and pressure cook for 3 whistles.
- Step 8
Serve with kadhi.
