Ingredients

- Step 1
In a kadhai, heat 1 tsp oil, add 1/4 tsp rai, 1/2 tsp urad dal, 1/2 tsp chana dal, 4 kadi patta and saute well.
- Step 2
Add 2 tbsp grated beetroot ,1/8 tsp green chili paste, 1/4 tsp grated ginger, water, 1/8 tsp salt.
- Step 3
Add 1 tbsp grated fresh coconut, cover and cook.
- Step 4
Keep aside.
- Step 5
Knead a semi soft dough using 4 tbsp wheat flour, 1 tsp oil, 1/8 tsp salt and water as required.
- Step 6
Divide it into equal size balls, roll it into round shape.
- Step 7
Place 1 spoonful of beet poriyal on one side and cover with other half.
- Step 8
Roast it on tawa using 1 tsp ghee till brown and crispy
- Step 9
Serve Hot.
