Steps
- Step 1
Heat a pressure cooker with 2 tsp ghee, add 1/4 tsp jeera, 2 cloves, 5 kadi patta and 1/4 tsp hing.
- Step 2
Add 2 tbsp chopped beetroot, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp haldi and saute for a minute.
- Step 3
Add rinsed rice, pour water as desired and mix well
- Step 4
Cover the lid and pressure cook until 2 whistles
- Step 5
Open the lid and fluff up the khichdi
- Step 6
Give it a Nestle Twist by adding mint leaves
- Step 7
Serve hot with Nestlé A+ Curd or raita.
