Steps
- Step 1
Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a pan, then add 1/3 cup besan and roast on low heat.
- Step 2
Keep roasting till besan turn golden and aromatic.
- Step 3
Add 1/2 tbsp chopped almonds, 1/8 tsp elaichi powder, and 2 tbsp grated fresh coconut into besan and mix well.
- Step 4
Allow it to completely cool.
- Step 5
Then, add 2 tbsp sugar powder and knead to make a dough.
- Step 6
Take a small portion and put it inside the modak mould.
- Step 7
Shape into modaks and serve.
