Steps
- Step 1
Soak, grind and ferment 1 tbsp rice and 1 tsp urad dal with water as required to a smooth batter.
- Step 2
Add 1 tbsp chopped green cabbage, 2 tbsp grated fresh coconut, 1 tbsp chopped onion and give it a mix.
- Step 3
Add 1 chopped red chilli, 1/4 tsp tamarind pulp, 1/4 tsp salt and mix well.
- Step 4
In a non stick tawa add a ladle of the batter and spread evenly.
- Step 5
Cook both sides with 1 tsp oil till golden and crispy.
- Step 6
Serve hot.
