Steps
- Step 1
Soak 3 tbsp rice, 1 tsp chana dal and 2 tsp urad dal for 2 hours in required water and grind till smooth. Keep it overnight to ferment.
- Step 2
In the batter, add 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp chopped garlic, 1/4 tsp grated ginger and mix well.
- Step 3
Grease idli mould with 1/2 tsp oil, pour batter into it and steam for 1015 minutes or until cooked.
