For sesame coconut chutney
- Step 2
In a pan, roast 1 tsp white til.
- Step 3
Then add the roasted til, 2 tbsp dry coconut in a mixie.

Blend it with little water.
- Step 5
For tempering of the chutney
- Step 6
In a pan, add 1/2 tsp oil, add 1/4 tsp rai, 1 red chilli, 4 curry leaves and 1/8 tsp hing.

Saute it well.
- Step 8
Add it to the chutney.

For preparing the uttapam
- Step 10
In a bowl, add the batter, 2 tsp ragi and mix it well.

Take a frying pan, add 1 tsp oil.
- Step 12
Spread the oil on the pan.
- Step 13
Pour the batter and spread it.
- Step 14
Spread 1/2 tbsp grated cheese on the batter.
- Step 15
Cover the pan with a lid & cook it.
- Step 16
Flip the uttapam and cook on the other side.
- Step 17
Serve hot with the sesame coconut chutney.
