- Step 1
In a pan, heat 1/2 tsp oil.
- Step 2
Add 1/4 tsp each of mustard seeds and cumin seeds, and let it crackle.
- Step 3
Add 1 tbsp each of chopped onions and tomatoes, 2 tsp ginger garlic paste, and 1/4 cup of chopped spinach and saute well.
- Step 4
Add 1/4 tsp each of turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and mango powder and mix in the spices.
- Step 5
Now, add cooked red gram dal, and mix well.
- Step 6
Serve hot with steamed rice.
