- Step 1
For Masala
Add 2 tsp moong dal, 2 tsp tur dal, 2 tsp urad dal, 1/4 cup diced brinjal, 1/8 cup diced pumpkin, 1/8 cup diced potato, 1/8 cup chopped methi leaves, 1 tsp chopped pudina, 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves in a cooker.
- Step 2
Pressure cook for 2 whistles and blend.
- Step 3
In cooked mixture add 1/2 tsp salt, 1/8 tsp red chilli powder, 1/4 tsp green chilli Paste, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/8 tsp garam masala. Blend again.
- Step 4
For Dansak
In a pressure cooker, heat 1 tbsp ghee.
- Step 5
Add 1/4 cup chopped onion and saute till golden brown.
- Step 6
Add 1/8 cup chopped tomato, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste and mix well.
- Step 7
Now add 1/4 tsp green chilli paste, 1/8 tsp red chilli powder, 1/8 tsp haldi, 1/8 tsp garam masala powder, 1/4 tsp salt and mix well.
- Step 8
Now add water as required and 1/2 cup of mutton. Mix well.
- Step 9
Then add the blended mixture in gravy, mix well and add water.
- Step 10
Cover & allow to cook for 4 whistles.
- Step 11
Give a nestle twist by adding kasuri methi.
- Step 12
Serve hot with roti or rice.
