- Step 1
For Beetroot Frankie Base
In a bowl add 2 tbsp maida,1 tbsp whole wheat flour,1/8th tsp salt,1/8th tsp baking powder,1/2 tsp butter,1 tbsp beetroot puree and mix it well.
- Step 2
Add water as required and knead into a soft dough.
- Step 3
Roll out dough into a round roti, place on a heated tawa and roast from both sides.
- Step 4
For Egg Mixture
In a pan heat, 1 tsp oil then add into the 1/8th tsp jeera ,1 tbsp chopped onion,1/4th tsp grated garlic,1/4th tsp grated ginger,1/8th tsp green chilli paste,1 tbsp chopped tomato and saute it well.
- Step 5
Add 1 egg,1/2 tsp red chilli powder,1/4th tsp jeera powder,1/4th tsp dhania powder,1/4th tsp garam masala,1/8th tsp salt mix well and cook till egg is scrambled.
- Step 6
To make the frankie, place beetroot roti and spread 1 tbsp tomato ketchup and egg mixture over it.
- Step 7
Roll it and serve.
