- Step 1
To make Falafel
In a grinder, add boiled chole, 1/2 tsp chopped garlic, 2 tbsp chopped parsley, 1/4 tsp jeera, 1/4 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp besan,1/8 tsp salt and 1/8 tsp black pepper powder.
- Step 2
Grind the mixture well to form a coarse paste and add 2 tbsp boiled mashed potato.
- Step 3
Grind well again and transfer into a bowl.
- Step 4
Now, make small equal sized cutlets from this paste and keep aside for a while.
- Step 5
On a heated pan add 3 tsp oil for frying and put the raw falafel balls and fry it till crunchy golden brown.
- Step 6
For Falafel Durum
Take 1 roti, spread 1 tbsp tahini sauce, 2 tbsp chopped lettuce, 2 tbsp julienne onion and 1 tbsp chopped avocado.
- Step 7
Now place the prepared falafel on it and put 2 tsp mayonnaise.
- Step 8
Roll the roti with the stuffing.
- Step 9
Yummy falafel durum is ready to be served hot.
