- Step 1
To make Falafel
In a grinder, add boiled chickpeas, 1 tbsp chopped garlic, 2 tbsp chopped parsley, 1/2 tsp jeera, 1/2 tsp dhania powder, 1 tsp besan,1/2 tsp salt and 1/4th tsp black pepper powder.
- Step 2
Grind the mixture to a coarse paste and add 2.5 tbsp boiled mashed potato.
- Step 3
Grind well again and transfer into a bowl.
- Step 4
Now, make small, equalsized cutlets and keep them aside.
- Step 5
Heat a pan with 1.5 tsp oil and shallow fry the falafel until crunchy.
- Step 6
For Falafel Sandwich
Apply 1.5 tsp butter to bread slices; place 3 onion slices, 5 tomato slices, and 5 cucumber slices.
- Step 7
Now place the falafel and add 1.5 tsp mayonnaise.
- Step 8
Cover it with another bread slice.
- Step 9
Give a nestle twist by adding chopped olives.
- Step 10
Serve this fun, delicious snack with an accompaniment of your choice.
