- Step 1
For the marination
Take 125 gm pomfret fish pieces, add 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, 1/8th tsp haldi, 1/8th tsp salt, 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/2 tsp tamarind pulp.

Marinate the fish and keep it aside.
- Step 3
Take a pan and heat 1 tbsp oil.
- Step 4
Add the marinated fish pieces.
- Step 5
Shallow fry the fish on both the sides.
- Step 6
Add water and mix well.
- Step 7
Add 1 tbsp coconut milk.
- Step 8
Sprinkle 1/2 tsp chopped coriander leaves.
- Step 9
Mix and cook well.
- Step 10
Serve it with rice.
