- Step 1
For Fish
In a bowl, add sliced pomfret, 1/8 tsp haldi, 1/8 tsp black pepper powder, 1/4 tsp lemon juice, salt as per taste, and mix well.
- Step 2
Marinate the fish in the masala.
- Step 3
In a pan, heat 1/2 tsp coconut oil and place marinated fish slices.
- Step 4
Roast till cook from both sides until golden brown and crisp.
- Step 5
For Fish Molee
In a pan, heat 1/2 tsp coconut oil, 2 green elaichi, 1/2 cinnamon stick, 2 cloves, 1/8 tsp methi seeds and mix.
- Step 6
Add 1/4 cup julienne onion, 1 tsp green chilli paste, 1/2 tsp grated garlic,1/2 tsp grated ginger, and saute it well.
- Step 7
Add 2 tbsp chopped tomato, 1/8 tsp haldi, 1/2 tsp coriander powder, 1/8 tsp black pepper powder, salt as per taste, mix, and cook until tomatoes soften.
- Step 8
Add coconut milk and mix well. Add fish slices and simmer for a few minutes.
- Step 9
Give a Nestle Twist by adding black sesame seeds.
- Step 10
Serve hot.
