Ingredients
Steps
- Step 1
Heat a pressure cooker with 1 tsp ghee, add 1/4 tsp jeera, kadi patta, 1/4 cup chopped potato and saute for a minute.
- Step 2
Add 2 tbsp basmati rice and 1 tbsp tur dal
- Step 3
Season with 1/2 tsp hing, 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp haldi
- Step 4
Pour water as required and mix well.
- Step 5
Pressure cook until 2 whistles
- Step 6
Once the pressure releases, fluff the khichdi gently.
- Step 7
Give it a Nestle Twist by adding flax seeds
- Step 8
Serve it hot with kadhi or plain Nestlé A+ Curd.
