- Step 1
Pressure cook 2 tbsp lentil dal and keep aside.
- Step 2
Melt 1 tsp butter in a pan at a low flame. Add 2 tbsp chopped onion and sauté.
- Step 3
Once the onions turn slightly transparent, add 1/2 tsp garlic paste and sauté.
- Step 4
Once the garlic is slightly cooked pour in the cooked dal and 1/2 cup chopped spinach, mix well.
- Step 5
Once the soup starts simmering add 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp black pepper powder and mix well.
- Step 6
Allow the soup to cook for a few more minutes and add 1 tsp lemon juice.
- Step 7
Transfer to a blender and blend till smooth consistency.
- Step 8
Give a Nestle Twist by adding sunflower seeds.
- Step 9
Serve hot.
