Ingredients

- Step 1
Heat 1 tsp oil in a frying pan at a low flame. Add 1/8th cup diced onion and sauté.
- Step 2
Once the onions start to become transparent, add 1 tsp chopped garlic, 1/8th cup diced carrots, 1 tbsp chopped celery, previously soaked and cooked masoor dal and sauté.
- Step 3
Once slightly cooked, pour in a little water and add 1/4th tsp salt along with 1/8th tsp black pepper and mix properly.
- Step 4
Bringing it to a boil, allow the soup to simmer and cook.
- Step 5
Take off the flame, pour in a blender and blend to obtain a soup like consistency.
- Step 6
Garnish with a coriander leaves.
- Step 7
Give a nestle twist by adding a sprinkle of black sesame seeds.
- Step 8
Serve hot.
