- Step 1
In a kadhai, heat 1 tbsp ghee.
- Step 2
To that, add 1/4th cup chopped onion and sauté till translucent
- Step 3
Then add 1 tsp chopped garlic, 1/8th tsp hing, 1 tsp grated ginger, 1/4 cup chopped tomato and mix well.
- Step 4
Once the tomatoes have shrunk, add 1/4th tsp garam masala, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder and mix well.
- Step 5
Add water as required, then add the previously pressure cooked dals, 1/4th tsp salt, 1/2 tsp chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
- Step 6
Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
- Step 7
Give a nestle twist by adding sunflower seeds.
