Ingredients
Steps
- Step 1
Wash and soak 1/2 cup moong dal and grind to a smooth paste.
- Step 2
In a heated pan, add 2 tbsp ghee and prepared moong dal paste.
- Step 3
Stir and roast continuously for 5 min.
- Step 4
Add 3 tbsp khoa, mix, roast well and keep aside.
- Step 5
Boil half cup water and add 2 tbsp sugar to it.
- Step 6
Allow the sugar syrup to thicken
- Step 7
Transfer the sugar syrup to roasted moong dal while stirring continuously.
- Step 8
Continue stirring till the mixture leaves sides of the pan.
- Step 9
Add 1/4 tsp green elaichi powder and mix well.
- Step 10
Transfer the prepared mixture to a greased tin.
- Step 11
Add 1 tbsp chopped pista and gently press on top.
- Step 12
Give a nestle twist by adding raisins.
- Step 13
Transfer to the fridge for some time and allow it to set.
- Step 14
Cut into squares and serve.
