- Step 1
For Khichdi
Heat a pressure cooker with 1 tsp ghee, add 1/4 tsp jeera and 1/4 tsp hing.
- Step 2
Add moong dal and rice and mix well.
- Step 3
Season with 1/4 tsp haldi, 1/4 tsp salt and mix well
- Step 4
Pressure cook until 3 whistles
- Step 5
Once the pressure releases, fluff the khichdi gently.
- Step 6
Serve it hot with kadhi.
- Step 7
For Kadhi
In a bowl, add 2 tbsp Nestlé A+ Curd, 1 tsp besan, 1/4 tsp haldi and whisk until smooth.
- Step 8
Heat a pan with 1 tsp ghee in a pan add red chilli, 1/4 tsp rai, kadi patta, 1/8 tsp hing, 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/4 tsp salt and saute well.
- Step 9
Pour the Nestlé A+ Curd besan mixture and mix well to avoid lumps.
- Step 10
Add water to adjust the consistency and mix well
- Step 11
Simmer for 23 minutes.
- Step 12
Finally, garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
- Step 13
And serve hot with Khichdi
