- Step 1
In a kadhai, heat 2 tsp oil.
- Step 2
Add 1/2 tsp jeera and let it crackle.
- Step 3
Next, add 2 tsp chopped onion, 1/2 tsp chopped ginger, 2 tsp chopped carrot, and 1 tbsp chopped tomato.
- Step 4
Saute all the ingredients well.
- Step 5
Add 1 tbsp boiled green peas, 2 tbsp oats, and mix well.
- Step 6
Add 1/4 tsp each of salt and red chili powder.
- Step 7
Add boiled Bengal gram dal and sufficient water.
- Step 8
Mix all the ingredients well, cover the pan with a lid and cook.
- Step 9
Sprinkle rich white sesame seeds on top for a nutritional twist and serve.
