- Step 1
In a mixing bowl, add the soaked and ground rice and urad dal batter, 1.5 tbsp oats flour,1/8 tsp salt and water as required.
- Step 2
Mix all ingredients well without lumps.
- Step 3
Also boil 1 egg, chop it and keep aside.
- Step 4
On a heated tawa, brush 1/4 tsp oil and pour a ladle of the batter.
- Step 5
Add on the top of uttapam 1 tbsp chopped onion,1 tbsp chopped tomato,1 tbsp chopped green capsicum, chopped boiled egg, 1 tsp oil from sides. Gently press the toppings down into the uttapam.
- Step 6
Roast it well on both sides.
- Step 7
Tasty uttapam is ready to serve.
