- Step 1
For Filling
In a pan, add 1/4 cup grated fresh coconut, 3 tbsp peanut powder, 1/4 cup jaggery powder,1 tsp raisins and 1/8 tsp green elaichi powder.
- Step 2
Mix all ingredients well till jaggery melts.
- Step 3
For Dough
In a kadai boil water as required and add 1/8 tsp salt, 1/4 cup rice flour and mix well
- Step 4
Turn off the heat and knead a soft dough.
- Step 5
Allow it to cool, take a small portion, round it into a ball and press it from sides.
- Step 6
Prepare the rest, transfer the modak to the steamer.
- Step 7
Allow it to steam for 15 min.
- Step 8
Delicious modak is ready to serve.
