Ingredients
Steps
- Step 1
In a pan, heat 1.5 tsp oil.
- Step 2
Add 3 cloves, 1/4 tsp chopped garlic and 1 tbsp chopped onion.
- Step 3
Saute these ingredients well.
- Step 4
Next, add 3/4 tbsp of chopped tomato, 1/8 tsp haldi, 1/4 tsp each of red chilli powder, 4.5 tbsp chopped palak , 1/4 tsp garam masala and saute well.

Then add 1/8 tsp of dry mango powder and saute well.
- Step 6
Add cooked dal and mix well.
- Step 7
Season with 1/3 tsp salt and mix again.
- Step 8
Serve the ready dal palak with steaming hot rice.
