Ingredients
Steps
- Step 1
Heat a thickbottomed pan on a low flame and roast 2 tbsp suji.
- Step 2
Once light brown, transfer into a bowl and keep aside.
- Step 3
To the same pan, add 1/2 tbsp ghee, 2 tsp chopped badam, 5 kaju, and 7 raisins, and roast well.
- Step 4
Pour 1/3rd cup Nestlé A+ Milk and allow it to simmer.
- Step 5
Add 5 tsp sugar and allow it to dissolve.
- Step 6
Add roasted suji and keep stirring until it thickens and starts to come together.
- Step 7
Flavor with 1/8 tsp green elaichi powder
- Step 8
Stir in 1/3rd cup Nestlé A+ Milk and simmer for a few more minutes.
- Step 9
Cook the halwa until it starts to leave the sides of the pan.
- Step 10
Garnish with saffron strands.
- Step 11
Serve warm.
