- Step 1
First, heat a pan and dry roast 4 tbsp sunflower seeds.
- Step 2
Keep roasting it till it turns lightly aromatic.
- Step 3
Once done, transfer to a processor or blender.
- Step 4
Run the blender and make a fine powder of roasted sunflower seeds, then add 1/2 tsp salt.
- Step 5
Add 2 tbsp chopped dates and run the blender again.
- Step 6
Give a Nestle Twist by adding carrot.
- Step 7
Start adding 2 tsp oil in short intervals while blending the seeds.
- Step 8
Once you are done adding the oil then keep blending till the butter forms into a smooth paste.
- Step 9
Keep scraping the sides with a spatula.
- Step 10
Sunflower seed butter is ready.
