- Step 1
To make chilli chicken, first, heat 2 tsp oil in a pan.
- Step 2
Then, add 1 tsp each of chopped garlic and ginger, 1/4 tsp green chilli paste and mix.
- Step 3
Add 1 tbsp of chopped onion and then add 50g chicken pieces.
- Step 4
Saute all these ingredients well.
- Step 5
Add 2 tbsp each of chopped spring onion, and julienne green capsicum.
- Step 6
Season with 1/4 tsp each of salt and black pepper powder.
- Step 7
Add 1/2 tsp soya sauce,1 tsp vinegar, 1 tbsp red chilli sauce and sufficient water.

Add 1 tbsp of cornflour slurry, mix well, cover with a lid and cook.
- Step 9
To make the veg fried rice, in a pan, heat 2 tsp oil.
- Step 10
Add 1 tsp chopped garlic,1 tsp chopped ginger, 2 tbsp chopped carrot and 1 tbsp each of chopped french beans and capsicum.

Next, add 1 tsp chopped green chilli, 1/4 tsp salt,1/2 tsp soya sauce and 1/2 tsp vinegar.
- Step 12
Stir well and mix well, and add the cooked rice.
- Step 13
Finally, add 2 tbsp of chopped spring onion, 1/4 tsp black pepper powder and mix well.
- Step 14
Serve veg fried rice with the prepared chilli chicken.
