Ingredients
Steps
- Step 1
Heat a pressure cooker with 1 tsp ghee, add 1/4 tsp jeera, 2 cloves, kadi patta, 1/4 tsp haldi, 1/4 tsp hing and saute.
- Step 2
Add 1 tbsp each of fresh green peas, cabbage, carrot and saute again.
- Step 3
Add 2 tbsp tur dal, 2 tbsp rice, and 1/4 tsp salt for taste.
- Step 4
Pour water as required and mix well
- Step 5
Pressure cook until 2 whistles
- Step 6
Once the pressure releases, fluff the khichdi gently.
- Step 7
Give it a Nestle Twist by adding watermelon seeds
- Step 8
Serve it hot with kadhi or plain Nestlé A+ Curd.
