In a bowl add 1/2 cup besan,1 tbsp rice flour, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp haldi,1/2 tsp dhania powder, 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/2 tsp tamarind paste,1/2 tsp salt, 2 tsp jaggery powder and 1/2 tsp oil.

Give it a Nestle Twist by adding white sesame seeds

Pour in little water and mix well to form a smooth paste.
- Step 4
Place a alu leaf and spread the besan mixture evenly on the leaf.
- Step 5
Add 2 more alu leaves and spread the besan mixture evenly on each leaf.
- Step 6
Fold the leaves and apply the mixture on the folded leaves.
- Step 7
Tightly roll the leaves and place it in a steamer.
- Step 8
Close with a lid and steam until cooked.
- Step 9
Once cooked, allow it to cool down
- Step 10
Cut the alu wadi into even slices.
- Step 11
Heat a pan with 1 tsp oil, place the alu wadi slices and shallow fry it.
- Step 12
Flip and roast until crips and golden brown.
- Step 13
Serve hot.
