- Step 1
In a grinder add soaked dals, soaked rice, 1/8 cup chopped spinach, 1/4 tsp chopped green chili, kadi patta, 1 dry red chili, 1/8 tsp hing and salt for taste

Add a little water and grind into a smooth and thick batter
- Step 3
Cover and rest the batter for 5 mins
- Step 4
Add 1 tbsp chopped carrot, 1 tbsp chopped french beans and mix well
- Step 5
Heat a nonstick pan, brush with oil and pour a ladle of batter
- Step 6
Give it a Nestle twist by adding sunflower seeds
- Step 7
Roast the adai evenly on both sides until crispy and golden brown
- Step 8
Serve hot with coconut chutney
