- Step 1
Heat a kadhai with 1 tsp oil add 1/4 tsp jeera, green elaichi, bay leaf, red chilli, 2 tbsp onion chopped and saute until light brown
- Step 2
Add 2 tbsp chopped tomato, 1/2 tsp green chilli paste, 1/4 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/4 tsp haldi, salt for taste and cook for a minute
- Step 3
Add cooked mixed dal and a little water for desired consistency
- Step 4
Give it a Nestle twist by adding grated amla
- Step 5
Serve with steamed or jeera rice
