Ingredients
Steps
- Step 1
Heat 1 tsp ghee in a pan and add 1/4 cup chopped onion, 1 tsp chopped ginger, 1/4 cup chopped tomato and saute the ingredients well.
- Step 2
Now add 1 tbsp chopped carrot, 2 tbsp chopped cabbage,1/2 tbsp peas,1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp red chilli powder and 1/4 tsp hing.
- Step 3
Add some water, cover the pan with a lid and cook for a few minutes.
- Step 4
Then, add cooked tur dal and mix well.
- Step 5
Cover again and cook for 5 mins more.
- Step 6
Garnish the dal with 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves.
- Step 7
Sprinkle some mixed seeds for a nutritional twist.
