- Step 1
PrePreparation
Soak 1/2 cup moong dal overnight.
- Step 2
Grind it to a smooth batter.
- Step 3
For Dhokla
In a bowl, add dal mixture, 1/3 cup Nestlé A+ Curd, and 1/2 tsp salt for taste.
- Step 4
Season it with 1/4 tsp dhania powder, 1/4 tsp grated ginger, 1/4 tsp chopped green chillies, and 1/4 tsp fruit salt.
- Step 5
Give it a Nestle Twist by adding flax seeds.
- Step 6
Add a little water to adjust the consistency.
- Step 7
Whisk all the ingredients well.
- Step 8
Grease a plate with little oil and pour the batter.
- Step 9
Steam it for 10 to 15 minutes or until done.
- Step 10
Once cooked, gently demould, cut into pieces and keep aside.
- Step 11
For Tadka
Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan.
- Step 12
Add 1/4 tsp rai, 4 kadi patta and 1/4 tsp dhania seeds.
- Step 13
Pour the tadka over the dhoklas and serve with mint chutney.
