Steps
- Step 1
For Short Crust Pastry
Add 1.5 cup wheat flour, 5 tbsp butter and rub it with your hand till a crumbly texture forms.
- Step 2
Add 3 tbsp powdered jaggery, 1/2 tsp salt, water as required, mix, and knead into a dough.
- Step 3
Cover and rest it for 10 minutes. Roll out using a rolling pin into a semithick circle and place in the pie mold.
- Step 4
Remove excess dough from the sides of the pie mold and make strips from them.
- Step 5
For Filling
Add 10 slices of apple, 1/2 tbsp jaggery powder,1/2 tsp cinnamon powder, and mix well.
- Step 6
Give a Nestle Twist by golden raisins.
- Step 7
Fill the mixture in the pie mold and cover it with dough strips
- Step 8
Brush with 1.5 tsp butter on top and bake at 180 degrees Celsius For 20 min
- Step 9
Serve Warm
