Steps
- Step 1
For Soaking
Soak and pressure cook rajma
- Step 2
For Patty
Heat 1 tsp oil on a low flame in a frying pan, add 1 tbsp chopped onion and sauté.
- Step 3
Once the onions start turning slightly transparent, add 1/2 tsp chopped garlic, 1 tbsp grated carrot, 1/8th tsp black pepper powder.
- Step 4
Sauté and add 1/4th tsp red chilli, 1/4th tsp jeera powder, 1/4th tsp dhania powder, 1/4th tsp salt and keep aside.
- Step 5
Take a mixing bowl, add 1 tbsp previously cooked rajma and mash it.
- Step 6
Once the rajma is mashed, add the previously cooked spice mixture, 1 tsp soya sauce, 1 tbsp oats flour, a little water and mix all the ingredients properly with hand.

Making sure all the ingredients are evenly distributed, shape them into a cutlet and keep aside.

Heat 1 tsp oil on a low flame in a frying pan and shallow fry the cutlet on both sides till crispy and golden brown, keep aside.
- Step 9
For Burger
For the final assembly of burger, take a burger bun and cut it into 2 halves.
- Step 10
Spread the 2 tsp mayonnaise on the lower half of the bun followed by the previously cooked bean burger cutlet, 2 slices of tomato, 2 slices of onion, ½ lettuce and cover with the other half of the bun.
- Step 11
Serve immediately with ketchup.
