Steps
- Step 1
Heat a small pan, add 1/2 tsp black pepper, 1/2 tsp sauf , 1/2 inch stick of cinnamon, 2 cloves, 1/2 star anise, 1.5 tbsp grated fresh coconut and dry roast.
- Step 2
Grind the mixture with water to make a smooth paste.
- Step 3
Take a kadhai and heat 2 tsp oil.
- Step 4
Add 2 kadi pattas, 1 tbsp chopped onions and saute till translucent.
- Step 5
Then add 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1 tbsp chopped tomatoes, 75 gm chicken pieces and mix well.
- Step 6
To the chicken mixture, add the prepared masala paste, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, 1/4 tsp garam masala powder, 1/4 tsp salt and sauté well.
- Step 7
Add water as required, cover and cook the chicken till it is done.
- Step 8
Serve hot.
