Steps
- Step 1
For the Batter
Soak 1.5 tbsp rice and 1.5 tsp urad dal for 2 hours in required water. and grind till smooth. Keep it overnight to ferment, adding pinch of salt to it.
- Step 2
For the Beetroot Corn Idli
In grinder, crush 1 tbsp corn.
- Step 3
In a bowl, add the batter, 1.5 tbsp grated beetroot, crushed corn and mix it well.
- Step 4
Grease the idli mould with 1/3 tsp oil.
- Step 5
Add the batter into the moulds.
- Step 6
Cover and steam till cooked.
- Step 7
Serve hot.
