Steps
- Step 1
For Sugar Syrup
In a pan add 4 tbsp sugar,water as required, 4 saffron strands,1/8 tsp green elaichi powder, mix and cook it well.
- Step 2
For Balushahi
In a mixing bowl add 2/3 cup wheat flour,1/4 tsp baking powder,1/8 tsp salt,1 tbsp ghee, water, mix and knead into the dough.
- Step 3
Flatten the dough with hand then cut into the half and overlap each other for 56 times.
- Step 4
Dived the dough in equal portion and roll each portion.Make a dent in the middle in each portion.
- Step 5
Heat oil in a kadhai and deepfry balushahi till golden.
- Step 6
Soak balushahi in a sugar syrup and serve.
