Steps
- Step 1
Heat a thickbottomed pan on a low flame.
- Step 2
Put 1 tbsp ghee along with almond powder.
- Step 3
Roast them well till you get an aroma.
- Step 4
Add 1/2 cup Nestlé A+ Milk, stirring it well and let it boil.
- Step 5
Add 1 tbsp Khoa and 1.5 tbsp sugar.
- Step 6
Stir properly using a spatula so that the sugar is mixed evenly with the almond powder and let it simmer.
- Step 7
After 23 mins when the mixture is reduced to half, add the soaked saffron solution.
- Step 8
The mixture will thicken and start to come together.
- Step 9
Add 3 tsp of chopped almonds.
- Step 10
The Halwa will thicken and begin to leave the sides of the pan.
- Step 11
You should even be able to see holes in the halwa when you move it around.
- Step 12
Stir and cook the halwa till it starts lumping around itself and starts to leave the sides of the pan.
- Step 13
Serve warm.
