Steps
- Step 1
In a nonstick pan, heat 1 tsp oil.
- Step 2
Add 1/8 tsp rai, 1/8 tsp jeera, 1/8 tsp hing, 2 tbsp chopped onion and cook until they turn light brown.
- Step 3
Then add 2 tbsp chopped tomato, 1/4 tsp haldi and the cooked moong dal. Mix well.
- Step 4
Add 1/4 cup chopped spinach to the dal and mix again.
- Step 5
Add 1/4 tsp salt and water.
- Step 6
Cover and let it simmer for a while.
- Step 7
Stir the dal and sprinkle 1/8 tsp crushed jeera
- Step 8
Serve hot with rice.
